‘An all-round education.’
We are delighted to have achieved a ringing endorsement from parents in the latest satisfaction survey across our Pre-Prep and Prep schools. Broomwood was noted for its ‘inclusive and happy’ atmosphere and overall excellence. The Pre-Prep curriculum was singled out for its impressive range of topics and themes, with parents praising teachers for always going ‘above and beyond’, giving the school 90% for overall experience.
At Broomwood Girls, the pastoral care was seen as strength with one parent explaining that ‘the tutor system is particularly good, ‘the girls have someone who knows them, who can champion them’. Almost 100% of parents also praised the school for its effective safeguarding. Parents at Broomwood Boys were impressed by the ‘high standard’ of teaching and said that the school builds confidence ‘and allows boys to be themselves’.
Professor Mark Bailey, Governor and Managing Director of Dukes Education said, ‘The positive feedback is reflected in the strong performance of boys and girls in receiving scholarships at 11+ and 13+’.
42 pupils were awarded scholarships to competitive senior schools. Half of these were for academic achievement, and the rest for performance in Sport, Drama, Music and Art. A testament to the tenacity of the children and commitment of their teachers.
