We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and celebrate the hard work of the Parents Association, Class Reps and the entire Broomwood Community. Throughout the year, you have baked, volunteered, supported and participated in a wide range of amazing events, from Quiz Nights and Easter Fun Runs to the Christmas Fair, uniform re-cycling drives, movie nights and bake sales.
Your generosity knows no bounds. We are thrilled to announce that over £30,000 has been donated to our 2 main charities, selected by the Parents Association, Critical Support and NAEF. This incredible achievement is a testament to the spirit of giving that defines our school and community.
In addition to these donations, we supported Royal Trinity Hospice, raising an impressive sum. However, the journey to support this vital cause doesn’t stop here.
We are happy to publicise the series of upcoming Hospice fundraising events that everyone can get involved in. On September 1st you are invited to participate in the Big Half 2024 run, a fantastic way to stay active while contributing to a worthy cause. For those who prefer a slower pace, the “Walk with Purpose” event offers a chance to enjoy a scenic walk while fundraising.
For the more adventurous members of our community, there are skydiving opportunities where you can experience the thrill of a lifetime. Additionally, don’t forget that there’s still time to enter The Trinity Hospice charity raffle, with tickets available until August 15th.
Together, we’ve made a significant impact, and we look forward to continuing our fundraising efforts in the year ahead.
