Our Vision
At Broomwood, we believe that success is not simply measured through attainment and academic achievements. Pupils’ welfare, both physical and mental, underpins our approach to supporting each individual in their educational journey. Pupils thrive where they are valued, heard and respected.
Aim of the School
At Broomwood, our aim is to incorporate a holistic approach to education, focusing on both academic and personal development within a positive, safe, and encouraging school environment. Our aims can best be separated into three areas:
- Aspiration and Achievement: We aim to foster a culture of high expectations and personal growth, encouraging every pupil to set and pursue ambitious goals, while providing the support and resources necessary for them to achieve their full potential.
- Sense of Belonging and Community: We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils feel confident, comfortable, and safe, promoting opportunities to try new things, build strong connections, and become active members of a supportive community.
- Character Development and Responsibility: We aim to nurture pupils’ self-awareness, accountability, and growth by encouraging them to reflect on their actions, take responsibility for their choices, and develop the resilience needed to thrive both academically and personally.

With help from Rosie O’Driscoll, who has run art workshops at Broomwood, whilst being a professional artist and professional sign writer, pupils at Broomwood Girls hand painted a fantastic Broomwood Values picture in their dining hall.
